The Hammonton Community Market will take place on Horton Street in downtown Hammonton on the 4th Friday of the month, June - September, from 5PM to 8PM. The mission is to bring sustainability focused and eco-conscious farmers, artisans, crafters and educational opportunities to Hammonton to provide services that may positively impact the community’s health and well-being. Hammonton Historic Preservation Guided Tour

The Hammonton Historic Preservation Commission leads guided walking tours throughout the spring, summer and fall, March through November. All participants will meet at the Eagle Theatre at 208 Vine St at 1 p.m. sharp. The tour includes stops in both the historic commercial and historic residential districts of Downtown Hammonton every first Saturday of the month, weather permitting. A $10 donation will support the Historical Society of Hammonton. Children under 18 are free.

Hammonton Ground Mosquito Spray Schedule: Monday, September 9th between 4:30 am and 5:30 am Weather permitting, the Atlantic County Office of Mosquito Control plans to treat parts of Hammonton as part of its ongoing effort to control adult mosquitoes and mosquito-borne disease activity. The area to be treated (see map) is bounded by North 1st Rd., Route 54, Fourth St. and Pleasant St., Grand St. and Wilbur Ave. Spraying to reduce adult mosquitoes using ground application equipment will take place on Monday morning, September 9th, between 4:30 am and 5:30 am.
