The Hammonton Police Department will be hosting a Rx Take Back Day on Monday, Feb. 16th, 2026 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of medications they have on hand that are expired, unused or unnecessary at the Hammonton Police Department, located at 100 Central Ave., Hammonton, NJ. PURPOSE: The Town of Hammonton is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Hammonton Lake Park located at 100 Sports Dr. in Hammonton, New Jersey 08037. Hammonton Town Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Trash collection on Monday will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20th.
