Town Wide Leaf Collection Begins

You rake’em, we take’em! Collection operations will cycle through the Town of Hammonton beginning October 21st through December 29th. Pick-up will usually take place on or around your regular trash day. Inclement weather and holidays will set back collections so please be patient with the Public Works Department. Piles must be free of foreign objects, such as metal or tree limbs, to keep our staff safe and protect equipment. Keep piles away from storm drains and low hanging trees. Questions or concerns? Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours

Hammonton Halloween trick-or-treating is between 5:30 p.m-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31st. On Halloween, children and adults alike are out and about, often in dark costumes and masks that may limit their visibility. It’s crucial to be cautious while driving in neighborhoods and around areas where you know trick-or-treaters are likely to be present. Please slow down, stay alert and have a fun night.

Hammonton Historic Preservation Guided Tour

The Hammonton Historic Preservation Commission leads guided walking tours throughout the spring, summer and fall, March through November. All participants will meet at the Eagle Theatre at 208 Vine St at 1 p.m. sharp. The tour includes stops in both the historic commercial and historic residential districts of Downtown Hammonton every first Saturday of the month, weather permitting. A $10 donation will support the Historical Society of Hammonton. Children under 18 are free.
