Town Hall Offices Closed MLK Day

Hammonton Town Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20th, 2025 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. MLK Day is a federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Stockton University will be hosting the 21st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. It will feature projects on campus at the Galloway, Atlantic City, Hammonton and Woodbine sites. Hammonton Town Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6, due to the snowstorm. Tonight's Mayor and Council Reorganization Meeting is cancelled and has been rescheduled for tomorrow night, Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m. Thank you and please stay safe. You can help our Public Works Department by following these simple steps: Park in your driveway whenever possible to keep streets clear for plows. Keep trash and recycling cans out of the street. Christmas Tree Disposal Options Did you know goats LOVE Christmas trees? Please consider donating your tree to a local farm! Angels in the Pines Goat Farm LLC and Funny Farm Rescue are accepting trees this January. Visit acua.com/christmastrees for drop-off dates, times, and contact details. Hammonton residents can place their Christmas trees at the curb for collection during brush week, Jan. 13th-17th. Please be sure that all decorations, metal stands, lights, cords, and plastic bags are removed before placing them at the curb.
