What started as a park clean up at the Hammonton Lake has expanded to include other areas across the community. Have fun, help out! Hammonton Lake Park 100 Sports Drive, Hammonton, NJ, United StatesEach year, NJDEP Fish & Wildlife raises and stocks thousands of freshwater fish across the state thanks to the dedicated staff at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Hackettstown State Fish Hatchery. The Pequest Trout Hatchery plays a vital role in raising and stocking over 600,000 rainbow trout annually, stocking over 190 waterbodies throughout the state. Opening Day of Trout Season is Saturday, April 11. Remember to purchase your fishing license and trout stamp!
