Remember to “spring forward” on March 8.

In 2026, daylight saving time begins with welcoming a later sunrise and more evening light. This year, clocks will spring forward one hour on Sunday, March 8 at 2 a.m. — when clocks jump to 3 a.m.

So while you’ll lose an hour of sleep that night, you’ll also gain an hour of sunlight in the evening. Daylight saving time always begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

Daylight saving time ends on Sunday, Nov. 1. Clocks will shift from 3 a.m., to 2 a.m.
