The Hammonton Fire Department, Hammonton Drug Alliance, and Rita’s of Hammonton will be hosting an event to connect the community with their local volunteer fire department. Stop by Rita’s of Hammonton between 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, July 29th! There will be give-a-ways from the fire department and drug alliance. Rita’s is donating 25% of all sales during the event to the Hammonton Fire Department. The funds raised will help keep our firefighters hydrated during the HOT summer months. About the event: MainStreet Hammonton invites residents to take part in the annual Downtown Cleanup & Flower Planting event — a spring tradition that celebrates community pride and helps keep Hammonton looking its best! Garden plots are now available for 2026! 2026 marks the Garden’s 11th year. Established in 2015 with help from the Town of Hammonton, Atlanticare, ACUA and many other generous donations, the Hammonton Community Garden provides a sunny, welcoming space to grow your own healthy food! Volunteers are always welcome, too! The garden is located at 11th and Washington Streets, behind the NJ Transit train station parking lot.
