The Hammonton Fire Department, Hammonton Drug Alliance, and Rita’s of Hammonton will be hosting an event to connect the community with their local volunteer fire department. Stop by Rita’s of Hammonton between 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, July 29th! There will be give-a-ways from the fire department and Drug Alliance. Rita’s is donating 25% of all sales during the event to the Hammonton Fire Department. The funds raised will help keep our firefighters hydrated during the HOT summer months. Some quick recycling tips: Check the Number - Only plastic items marked with #1, #2, or #5 can go in your curbside recycling bin. Plastics with other numbers should go in the trash. Keep Plastic Bags and Films Out - Items like plastic bags, bubble wrap, and plastic film can’t be recycled curbside. Many local grocery stores offer drop-off bins specifically for these materials! Clean and Empty - Make sure all food or liquid containers are empty and rinsed to help us keep the recycling stream clean.
