Holiday Update: Hammonton Town Hall will be closed on Monday, October 12th, 2026 in observance of Columbus Day. Trash collection on Monday will resume on Tuesday, October 13th.

Brush week is October 13th-16th. Please make sure your yard waste does not exceed a 6’x6’x6’ pile. Clippings should be placed at the curb before 6:00 a.m. on your regular trash day. Inclement weather will set back collections so please be patient with the Public Works Department.

Leaf collection in the Town of Hammonton will commence on Monday, October 19th and continue until Friday, December 18th. Collections are typically scheduled around your regular trash pick-up day; however, please be aware that inclement weather and holidays may cause delays. The Public Works Department appreciates your patience during this time.

To ensure the safety of our staff and the protection of equipment, please make sure that leaf piles are free from foreign objects, such as metal, yard waste and tree limbs. Additionally, it is important to keep these piles away from storm drains and low-hanging trees.
