Town of Hammonton

Deputy Mayor Thomas Gribbin presents former Public Works Manager Robert Vettese with a plaque during a special retirement ceremony at Monday's Town Council meeting.

In sincere gratitude for the dedication, guidance, and outstanding vision you’ve provided to improve our community during your time as the Town’s Engineer. Your service has been instrumental in the success of numerous projects.

As the Town’s Public Works Manager, your hard work and successful accomplishments on many projects, large and small, will be recognized for generations. Your renowned tenure, both with the Town and ARH, has been an invaluable asset.

Vast experience and professionalism, including your calm, kind and thoughtful work ethic, make you a mentor who has always put the needs of Hammonton first. Throughout your tenure, you always prioritized the people you served over yourself. There is not a project in Town over the last few decades that you have not shaped in some important way.

Thank you for being a model public servant. You should be proud of the projects that you and your colleagues have tackled as a team, helping transform the local landscape and enhancing the Town’s overall quality of life. Know that your work has made a lasting impact on the Town.

In this well-earned retirement we wish you many happy adventures, relaxation and the enjoyment of life with friends and family. As you move on to this new chapter of your life, we, the residents of the Town of Hammonton along with the Mayor and Council, wish you the best that retirement has to offer, with our sincere appreciation for all you have contributed to our community.
