At the February 27, 2023, Town Council meeting, Mayor and Council voted unanimously to move forward with the acquisition of the property located at 236 Bellevue Avenue; formerly known as Wells Fargo Bank and historically known as The Peoples Bank. The purchase price of the property is $675,000 with a down payment amount of $10,000. The Town is exploring grant opportunities that will pay for 100% of the acquisition cost.
