Green Acres Recreation Survey The Town of Hammonton is proposing to apply for Green Acres funding to construct a Jake’s Law All-Inclusive Playground at Hammonton Lake Park in compliance with NJ Department of Environmental Protection Rules for Completely Inclusive Playgrounds. Public feedback is an important component of the application’s process. Residents are encouraged to take the one-minute-long Recreation Survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HamGA2025), which is open until Jan. 17.

Hammonton Police Christmas Toy & Food Drive

Please consider donating to the Hammonton Police Department Toy and Food Drive. Accepting canned goods and dry food in the Police Dept. lobby at Town Hall, 24 hours a day, until noon on Saturday, Nov. 30th. Accepting new unwrapped Christmas gifts outside the Hammonton Walmart on Dec. 7th, 14th and 21st. All food and toy donations will be distributed in the Hammonton area.

Hammonton Town Hall Closed Nov. 28 & 29

Holiday Update: Hammonton Town Hall will be closed on Nov. 28th and Nov. 29th. Thursday’s trash collection will be picked up Friday, Nov. 29th. ACUA recycling collections will also be delayed by one day. Bulk trash collection is Dec. 2nd-6th. Brush collection is Dec. 9th-13th. Leaf collection operations will cycle through town until Dec. 23rd. Please do not mix brush/sticks in leaf piles, as they should remain separate to help the efficiency of the leaf collection process.
