Beginning on Friday, May 3rd, and continuing for a week, a mobile striping operation will be in effect along the following roadways in Hammonton, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weather permitting, for road striping & pavement marking installation work. Third St. (CR724) – at various locations between the Wood St. and Central Ave. Central Ave.(CR542) – at various locations between the Bellevue Ave. (NJ54) and the White Horse Pike (US30).
Atlantic County residents can dispose of household hazardous items safely at the ACUA Environmental Park, 6700 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township on Saturday, April 20, 2024, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Most Atlantic County residents have hazardous waste in their cabinets, basements, or garages. Cleaning products, motor oils, insecticides, oil-based paints, and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are just a few hazardous items that cannot be disposed of in regular curbside trash cans. There will be a guided walking tour of the historic residential and business districts this Saturday, April 6, 2024. Interested participants should arrive at the Eagle Theatre by 1:00 pm. A $10 donation will support the Historical Society of Hammonton. Children under 18 are free.
