We are currently preparing the final 2022/2023 preliminary tax bills for mailing and hope to have them in the mail by Friday, August 26.  The grace period has been extended through September 30, 2022, and payments must reach our office on or before this date to avoid paying interest. Water/Sewer bills are due at this time and reminder notices have been mailed.  Please remember that tax and utility payments should be made with a separate check.  As always we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Final 2022/Preliminary 2023 Tax bills will be mailed once the County Board of Taxation certifies the tax rate. Third quarter property taxes are due August 1, 2022, however, the grace period will be extended. Please continue to check the town website for updates. Property owners may make payments toward their third quarter without a bill either at the window or through the mail. Water/Sewer bills are still due on August 1st with a 10-day grace period. Construction is underway and we are so excited for what’s to come! During construction, the playground will remain closed. The rest of Hammonton Lake Park is open for your recreational enjoyment. The Hammonton School District will open its playground for public use at Warren E. Sooy Elementary School beginning June 14th from dawn to dusk. Once the summer program begins in the month of July the playground will be open from 5:00 pm to dusk. The track around William T. Capella field will also be open for public use beginning Saturday, June 11th after the Hammonton Cancer Foundation Walk for our Neighbors! [...]

The Town of Hammonton will be starting work on the playground in mid-June at the Hammonton Lake Park. This will be the first phase of reconstruction during a multi-phase, multi-year project at Lake Park. Due to this construction, and for the safety of visitors to the park, the playground will be closed until construction is complete. In addition, there will not be fireworks in Hammonton on Independence Day this year. It has been a thrill to bring the fireworks back to Hammonton Lake Park these last few years.
