Hammonton Lake Lowering Announcement

The Town of Hammonton has received a permit from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Fish and Wildlife allowing Hammonton Lake to be gradually lowered and brought back to normal water level in regulated stages between November 1st and March 1st.   The Town’s Municipal Utility Department (MUD) Supervisor, Anthony DeCicco, will oversee the lake lowering process beginning November 1, when the first of three boards will be removed from the dam at the White Horse Pike. Mail-In Ballot Box at Town Hall is Open. Information on In-Person Early Voting

The Atlantic County Board of Elections opened the secure mail-in ballot box on Monday, September 25, 2023. If you received a mail-in ballot you can drop it in the box at this location. In-person early voting locations will open from October 28th to November 5th at the Hammonton Family Success Center, 310 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Annual Bike MS Ride-Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st.

This weekend is the annual Bike MS City to Shore ride. You will see a significant about of cyclists traveling through town on Saturday, September 30th, and Sunday, October 1st. Please use caution when sharing the road. Attached is a map to show the route of the Bike Ride. If you can avoid traveling these roads, please do so.
