Hammonton Police Department is Hiring *9-16-2022

The Hammonton Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer in accordance with the New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Intergovernmental Transfer Program (IGT)

In our world of many acronyms it is commonly called a “lateral transfer”.

In accordance with the IGT Program, applicants must currently be employed as a sworn officer with a New Jersey Civil Service law enforcement agency and their current agency must be willing to approve the transfer. Applicants must have graduated from a New Jersey Police Training Commission (PTC) certified law enforcement academy and be in possession of a New Jersey PTC certificate.
