Hammonton Halloween trick-or-treating is between 5:30 p.m-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31st. On Halloween, children and adults alike are out and about, often in dark costumes and masks that may limit their visibility. It’s crucial to be cautious while driving in neighborhoods and around areas where you know trick-or-treaters are likely to be present. Please slow down, stay alert and have a fun night.

Hammonton Historic Preservation Guided Tour
Hammonton Historic Preservation Guided Tour
The Hammonton Historic Preservation Commission leads guided walking tours throughout the spring, summer and fall, March through November. All participants will meet at the Eagle Theatre at 208 Vine St at 1 p.m. sharp. The tour includes stops in both the historic commercial and historic residential districts of Downtown Hammonton every first Saturday of the month, weather permitting. A $10 donation will support the Historical Society of Hammonton. Children under 18 are free.

Holiday Update: Hammonton Town Hall will be closed on Nov. 28th and Nov. 29th. Thursday’s trash collection will be picked up Friday, Nov. 29th. ACUA recycling collections will also be delayed by one day. Bulk trash collection is Dec. 2nd-6th. Brush collection is Dec. 9th-13th. Leaf collection operations will cycle through town until Dec. 23rd. Please do not mix brush/sticks in leaf piles, as they should remain separate to help the efficiency of the leaf collection process. Thank you. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful Thanksgiving.

Join the Rotary Club of Hammonton as we host our 4th Annual Fun Shoot Saturday, November 30, at the Pine Valley Gun Club in Berlin. For a $80 donation, each shooter will receive a T-shirt, 50 shotgun shells (choose from 12 gauge or 20 gauge), lunch, a cigar and a chance at door prizes.
