PURPOSE: The Town of Hammonton is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Hammonton Lake Park located at 100 Sports Dr. in Hammonton, New Jersey 08037.
PROJECT SCOPE: The Town of Hammonton proposes to create the following new facilities at Hammonton Lake Park: a stormwater-management system including numerous retention basins, a tot lot playground adjacent to the concession stand, a bocce ball court, and other recreational improvements. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found below:

Public Hearing Information
The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments about the proposed plan on January 26, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held In Person as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
