The Atlantic County Board of Elections opened the secure mail-in ballot box on Monday, September 25, 2023. If you received a mail-in ballot you can drop it in the box at this location. In-person early voting locations will open from October 28th to November 5th at the Hammonton Family Success Center, 310 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

This weekend is the annual Bike MS City to Shore ride. You will see a significant about of cyclists traveling through town on Saturday, September 30th, and Sunday, October 1st. Please use caution when sharing the road. Attached is a map to show the route of the Bike Ride. If you can avoid traveling these roads, please do so.

The August meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission has been moved to Wednesday, August 30th at 7:00pm.

Construction on the tennis/pickleball courts will be completed this week. We invite you to attend a Reopening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, August 12th at 9:00 am to officially reopen the tennis courts and to introduce pickleball courts, an exciting new recreation option for our community.

The 2023 Final/2024 Preliminary Tax Rate is in. The bills will be mailed before August 4th and the grace period for the 2023 3rd quarter will be extended to September 8, 2023. If 3rd quarter payment is not received by September 8, 2023 interest will be charged back to August 1, 2023.

Independence Day Fireworks will be held at Hammonton Lake Park - 100 Sports Drive - on Tuesday, July 4th at around dusk (approximately 9 PM.) The fireworks will be set off from the National Guard Armory on S. Egg Harbor Road. Any spot within Hammonton Lake Park facing S. Egg Harbor Road will have a great view of the display. People that want to view the fireworks, and are close by, are encouraged to walk or bike, if possible. There will be a limited amount of free parking available in Lake Park.
