Town of Hammonton Public Safety Telecommunicator • Full/Part Time Position Available The Town of Hammonton is seeking a full/part time Public Safety Telecommunicator. Certification is required for this position. Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred but not necessary. Pay rate is $16-$18.50 per hour. Supervisor candidate is expected to assure that treatment operations for the Wastewater system remain in compliance with applicable governing regulations at all times. Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however, candidate must be available to be contacted at all times to respond to emergencies. Beginning on  Friday, May 3rd, and continuing for a week, a mobile striping operation will be in effect along the following roadways in Hammonton, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weather permitting, for road striping & pavement marking installation work. Third St. (CR724) – at various locations between the Wood St. and Central Ave. Central Ave.(CR542) – at various locations between the Bellevue Ave. (NJ54) and the White Horse Pike (US30).

There will be a guided walking tour of the historic residential and business districts this Saturday, April 6, 2024. Interested participants should arrive at the Eagle Theatre by 1:00 pm. A $10 donation will support the Historical Society of Hammonton. Children under 18 are free.
