Cpt. Gerard V. Palma Memorial Playground at Hammonton Lake Park is open!

We are pleased to announce the reopening of Cpt. Gerard V. Palma Memorial Playground at Hammonton Lake Park. The Town will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00am to mark the occasion. This also marks the completion of the first phase of improvements to Hammonton Lake Park. The Town was awarded grant funding in 2020 to complete phase one and in 2021 was awarded additional grant funds to complete phase two which will provide various accessible walkways. The Tri-Vets of Hammonton will host the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Hammonton Middle School in the auditorium at 7:00 pm. Several dignitaries and guest speakers will be in attendance including Hammonton Police Department's own Officer John Amendolia, a United States Air Force Veteran.
