Hammonton CSI Camp educational class for 7th to 12th grade students June 27, 2018
This full day educational class is limited to 7th-12 grade students who have an interest in law enforcement or related forensic sciences. Students will learn how to identify then process a mock crime scene by collecting evidence using the most up-to-date modern techniques and methodologies learned during the lecture portion of the class. The students will follow the clues left behind by the suspect(s), and develop supporting evidence to solve the crime. The class is designed to challenge all students while having fun solving the crime. The regular monthly Council Meeting date for this month has been changed from May 14, 2018 to Monday, May 21, 2018.

South Jersey Gas Company contractor Kline is scheduled to complete gas main renewal work at night in our area. Message sign boards notifying the community of the night work were put out earlier in the week. They are scheduled to start setting up traffic control at 7:00 PM and be off the roadways around 5:00 AM.
Below are the two work areas and projected timelines for each:
1. White Horse Pike between Central Ave (CR 542) and Pleasant Mills Rd (CR 542) – Scheduled for night work on Monday 4/16 through Thursday 4/19
2. Intersection of Route 54 and West End – Scheduled for night work Monday 4/23 and Thursday 4/24

The Hammonton Planning and Zoning Board meeting scheduled for this evening Wednesday March 21, 2018 is cancelled due to inclement weather. The items on the March 21, 2018 agenda will be heard at the next meeting scheduled for April 4, 2018.

Due to the current and expected weather conditions, Hammonton Town Hall will be open 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon today.
Declaration of Local State of Emergency
At 5:30 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2018, I, Mayor Stephen DiDonato, have declare a Local State of Emergency in the Town of Hammonton.
The Local State of Emergency shall continue until such time that that the Emergency Management Coordinator and Mayor deem appropriate.
All essential personnel should report to duty if requested by their department head.
Residents are required to move parked vehicles off the street per Town Code Chapter 271-11 during storm events and are encouraged to stay off the roadways whenever possible.
