Community Energy Planning Grant • Stakeholder Meeting
Hammonton Canoe Club 100 Sports Drive, Hammonton, NJCommunity Energy Planning Grant Hammonton has received a grant through the NJ Board of Public Utilities in 2025. The Green Committee will be helping to administer this grant and will assist with setting up stakeholder meetings so that residents, business owners and other members of the community can discuss ideas about what might help to save money, use energy more efficiently and to prepare for the future. The purpose of this grant is to develop a community energy plan that includes several projects that make sense for our town. Sustainable, fresh and fun – you won’t want to miss it! This year, the Market will be held in the parking lot behind Casciano’s (212 Bellevue) – on Second and Vine. The Community Market features vendors with handmade, homemade, eco-friendly crafts and wares and provides an important opportunity to showcase local small farmers who grow with organic, sustainable or regenerative practices. Hammonton Green Committee: Green Day Festival
Veterans Memorial ParkThe Hammonton Green Committee will be hosting the 18th Annual Green Day Festival on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 333 Vine Street, Hammonton. Green Day features awesome vendors, environmental and community organizations, free workshops and activities, including a chair yoga/tai chi and qi gong demo, backyard composting, live music, and a chance to recycle a variety of items.
